Sky Knight rides out through the dark clouds
Bound by his charge defend the Sun (the Sun)
Always watching, never resting
On his guard he waits (so long)
Without warning evil demons
And Demigods with greed for light (the light)
In the clouds it’s so loud
In the clouds he battles on (so loud)
He must defend from those who’d covet the light
The victory lends to hold off the eternal night
Wounds turn to scars, a mark from each battle he’s won
His life lingers on to serve the sun
Skies are calm now, parts the dark clouds
The conflict ends, evil descends (down low)
Evil’s plotting, ever scheming
The sun seek to destroy (destroy)
Greed is wanting, always seeking
Can’t satiate their power lust (their lust)
In the clouds steadfast and proud
In the clouds he ascends (ascends)
This album is an absolute banger. The riffs are especially groovy this time, the vocals are amazing, and the overall thing is supercatchy. If I'd have to list one downside, it's that the mix is so bass-heavy that the sound only truely comes into it's right when listened on good headphones or extremely good speakers. On anything less it can sound like the bass drowns the rest of the music out. 9/10 Buzzario
Filthiest Sludge record I've ever been deafened by!! Riffs are disgustingly heavy, the pounding of the drums is ferocious, the bass is gnarly as shit, & the vocals are pure evil!! ALL HAIL DOPETHRONE🤘 TheMetalheadGuy
I'm sad to see this era of Beastmaker close out but this is a phenomenal way to do! Black Butterfly might be the best thing they've ever done. dianonhead
